This Privacy Policy explains how Ghostwake ("the app", "we", "us"), published by Orviolabs, handles information when you use the app. By using Ghostwake you agree to the practices described here.
Ghostwake does not ask you to create an account and we do not collect your name, email, or contacts. To keep the app free, Ghostwake shows ads via Google AdMob and uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand anonymous usage. These Google services may collect certain device identifiers and usage data, as described below.
Your best scores and your selected theme are stored locally on your device so the game can remember them. This data stays on your device and is removed if you uninstall the app or reset scores in Settings.
We use Google AdMob to display interstitial and rewarded ads. To serve and measure ads, AdMob and its partners may collect and process:
Depending on your consent and region, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID, and limit ad personalization, in your device settings under Settings → Google → Ads. We use Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data — such as app opens, runs started/ended, scores, and settings changes — together with device model, OS version, language, and app version. This helps us understand how the game is played and improve it. We do not use it to identify you personally. See the Firebase Privacy and Security information.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the app presents a consent request (via Google's User Messaging Platform) before showing personalized ads. You may change or withdraw your choice at any time.
We do not sell your data. The data described above is processed by Google (AdMob and Firebase) acting as our service providers, in accordance with their policies linked above.
Ghostwake requests the vibration permission for haptic feedback, and internet access to load ads. It does not access your contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, or files.
Ghostwake is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us and we will remove it.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
